When I was 12, my family moved to the Quynh Lam. At first, every thing was strange and difficult to me. Life in the country is quite hard and the people are often in a hurry. I hated the noise of animals and the wet roads. I hated walking to school most. A lot of bikes, motorbikes and lorries coming from every direction scared me. Now I get used to the life in the countryside. I am used to the noise and busy life here, especialy in the time of crops. I am not afraid of crossing the roads any more. I really like to live in Quynh Lam. I prefer to live in the countryside.
Nam had a wonderful holiday last summer. He went to Ha Noi, the capital of Viet Nam. He stayed at his uncle’s house for three weeks. He visited a lot of interesting places such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh square, Hoan Kiem Lake… He bought some souvenirs for his friends and a shirt with a yellow star on it. Nam liked the shirt very much. He wore it all day. When he returned to Nghe An, he spoke to his friends about his vacation.

    PARAGRAPH 1
For centuries, poets, writers and musicans have mentioned the ao dai in poems, novels and songs. The ao dai is the traditional dress of Vietnamese women. It consists of a long silk tunic that is slit on the sides and worn over loose pants. Traditionaly, it was frequently worn by both men and women. The design and material used for men were different from those used for women.Nowasdays, women usuall ywear it.especially on special occations. However , many Vietnamese women today often prefer to wear modern clothing at work, because it is more convinient.
    Pargraph 3
Nowasday, fashion designers want to change the tradition ao dai. Some have printed lines of poetry on the ao dai,so they look mordern and very fashionable. Other designers have taken inspration from Vietnam’s ethnic minorities. They have visited villages and studied traditoinal designs andsymbols such as suns, stars, crosses and stripes. They have added these patterns to the ao dai , so Vietnamese women can continue to wear the unique dress, which is now both traditiona and fashionable.
    Pargraph 3
On Macth 3, 1847, Alexander Graham Bell was born in Edinburgh. He was a Scotsman although he later emigrated, first to Canda and then to the USA in the 1870s.
In America, he worked with deaf-mutes at Boston University.Soon, Bell started experimenting with ways of transmiting speech over a long distance. This led to the invention of the telephone.
